The Girls' First Noel
It seems every line of baby clothing has a wealth of 'My First Christmas' onesies, bibs, hats and such. (And we have plenty, to be sure.) But the funny thing is, it's probably not till the second Christmas that the baby really gives a rip.
As you can see, Rachel cares that it's Christmas, but "only this much."
But what she REALLY cares about is nuzzling with people who love her.
"Ho ho ho!!!"

Neither of my kids cared on their second Christmas, either. The third Christmas for my son (who is now four) was somewhat exciting, and the one just past was even better. Though the most recent Christmas probably confused him for the rest of his life because we opened presents so many times over three weeks with a lot of different people! We don't go in for big Christmas things (I don't think I've even mentioned Santa Claus to the kids), but when Mark starts school in September he'll probably get the idea by next Christmas.
